I suppose every fragrance has a story, but with CUROSE, it feels… different. Maybe because it carries a part of Mr. Dixit himself. He didn’t just compose this; he lived it for months. Some days, he’d say it was done, perfect even. The next morning, you’d find him back at his bench, changing a single drop as though everything depended on it. That’s just how he works.

It all began with our American Leather accord. If you’ve followed niche perfumery in the US, you’ve probably heard about it — it has this quiet reputation. Bold, textured, a little stubborn, like old saddles polished smooth by time or the faint scent of tobacco clinging to a leather jacket. But leather alone wasn’t enough. He wanted contrast. Something soft. Something almost divine.

That’s when the roses arrived — two, in fact: Turkish Rose and Damascena. He paired them, broke them apart, paired them again, until they finally spoke in harmony. The result is what he calls “Roses of the God.” There’s brightness here, yes, but also something darker beneath it, like beauty caught in the knowledge of its own impermanence.

Underneath it all lies a soft foundation: amber and the delicate breath of cotton flower. The cotton was unexpected, almost a gamble — it’s rarely used in perfumery because it’s subtle, sometimes too subtle. But here, it gives CUROSE this strange, weightless quality, as though the whole composition is suspended in air. And then, in the shadows, the balsamic resins move slowly, quietly, grounding everything.

If you lean close, you might even catch the faintest blackcurrant note. It’s not obvious; it never announces itself. But it’s there — a soft, dark thread stitched through the leather and roses, making you want to lean in again.

And here’s the thing: if this perfume were launched by another brand, it would easily be priced at US$400 for a 50ML bottle. No hesitation. But that’s not what we’re doing here. We aren’t dressing CUROSE up in expensive custom-made boxes or sinking money into glossy campaigns. We kept it simple — no distractions, no frills — so all the focus stays on what truly matters: the formulation itself and the experience each spray delivers.

Because CUROSE isn’t about appearances. It’s about what happens in that quiet moment when leather, roses, amber, and cotton collide on your skin. It’s bold and tender all at once. Smooth, yes, but never predictable.
